Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #9

PURE NUMBER by Elequent

Pure Number is brand new watchface which shows the time in a very unique way whilst keeping an attractive simple interface. The top two rows of this watchface shows the hours and the two below show the minutes. Also displayed is the day of the month and the date which can be disabled if you want a simpler watchface. The colours are customizable to the users choice with more colours in a future update.

TECHNO2 by UTDESIGN

This well designed retro style watchface similar to old Casio watches but with modern colour stylings in yellow and blue. The time, day and date are shown in a font just like old LCD watched, below is the seconds bar which goes up to 60 seconds is constantly moving which may reduce your battery life. Also shown on this watchface is the battery level and the Bluetooth status which fits in well to this watchface without cluttering it.

SHARP by Sam Jerichow

Sharps design is loosely based around a cross in a check box which gives this watchface a unique look. This watchface may be harder to read at first but once you figure out what each number is you should be able to read it clearly and quickly.

SAVILLE by fgn

Saville is a colourful simple watchface showing just the time in a style that looks similar to old fashioned 3d movies. The time is displayed in three different coloured fonts overlapping to create various different colours in a good looking design.

MACRO CLOCK by shamHu

One of the first analog watchfaces I have included in these posts is Macro Clock which shows a zoomed in clock where the hour hand is shown as it moves around the face. The colour of this face is customizable alongside the colour of the numbers and minute dots.

Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #8

In this post I am going to look at some of my favorite watchfaces for the Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel in my own opinion. I aim to have a wide variety of different faces each week to help Pebblers discover new watchfaces for their Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steels. This is the eighth weekly roundup but I have also created a retro gaming watchface roundup. I have included a link to the Pebble store where you can download the faces if you wish to. Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #8

CALENDAR CARDS by misato

Calendar Cards is one of the thew watchfaces to include calendar events, inspired by Android Wear this face shows you your next calendar event and how long until it. This isn’t just for calendar events thought this is a fully functional watchface showing you the time and date on a background similar to the Material UI design. As a small display in the top right shows you the weather condition and temperature which is a nice addition which does not get in the way of the design.

PERCENTAGE by Marcelo Lazaroni

Percentage is a unique design that shows the time of day as a percentage aiming to make you more aware of how you use your time. To find the real time with this watchface all you have to do is flick your wrist and it will display the clock, temperature and date on the screen. At the start of the day the screen will be green and towards the end it will turn through orange to red just like a battery level.

FLIPDOT by Paul Murch

Another interesting design is FlipDot which replicates the design used on older buses and at some airports for display and destination boards. The watchface animates each time that the time changes or the user flicks there wrist.

CHROMA by Sam Jerichow

Chroma was inspired by the tests for colour blindness, even for non colour blind people this can sometimes be harder to read but it looks unique. This watchface just displays the time in a set of blue bubbles which looks great although it is slightly harder to read.

KEYWATCH by Yuriy Galanter

Based on a keyboard Keywatch uses a screen full of keys that change based on the time and date. The second row Shows the time in the center four keys with the date two rows below and the day another two rows below that. The space bar here is used to show the battery level of the Pebble Time.

Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #7

In this post I will be showing some of best Pebble Time watchfaces in my opinion. Each week I aim to have a variety of different styles in each post. This post is the seventh in the weekly series some weeks I will do watchfaces from a certain genre like Retro Gaming. Each of the watchfaces will have a link to the pebble store so you can download them, I will also include a link for the developers website if available so you can check out some of their other designs. Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #7

SIMPLE WEATHER by Evandro Muller

Simple Weather as the name suggests is focused around a simple weather condition readout for your location using the same sort of art use by television stations before digital weather forecasts were shown. Although this is weather based the time readout is in bold so is easy to read at a glance. Also shown in the top right is the day of the week and the day of the month as well as the battery level shown as a percentage. At the bottom is your current location and temperature for that location.

FUZZY TIME COLOR by Phil Devereux

This is possibly one of the simplest watchfaces I have found whilst keeping a attractive design, the time is displayed using words instead of numbers which may make it easier to read for some but for me makes it slightly harder. Although the watchface is accurate the time can be only displayed to the nearest five minutes which may be a disadvantage to some. Every minute the colour changes which also may be a disadvantage for some who would prefer to keep one colour or choose their own.

RETRO PIXEL TIME by Artem Anisimov

Retro Pixel Time is another weather focused watchface this time showing the weather in a block pixelated style alongside text in the same style. Your location is shown at the bottom of the watchface just below the temperature and weather conditions for that location.

DISARRAY by Zephyris

Disarray is the most animated watchface here every minute the animation is shown where all the times flip to show the new time. As well as being highly animated this watchface also has great customisation allowing you to change the theme and style of animation there is also the feature of customizing the shape of the pixels making more unique designs possible.

M360 DIGITAL by PALINTech Ent.

With 2500 colour combinations this is probably one of the most customizable watchfaces out there, the face is a simple design with no unneeded clutter just simply showing hours and minutes. The three colours here can be customized to the users choice making it great for those who like colour coordination.

Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #6

Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #6

TIMESTYLE by Freakified

The first watchface I have chosen this week comes with a clean colourful design which is also very customizable with unlimited colour combinations selectable by the wearer. Also customisable is the position of the bar with the ability to place it on the left or the right. A small symbol shows the weather condition for your location with the temperature in celsius or fahrenheit below.

TIME&WEATHER by Francesco Di Carlo

Time&Weather shows a lot of information on the screen but manages not to feel cluttered and still keeps a great design. Show onscreen for your location is the temperature, weather status, humidity and windspeed and direction obviously alongside the time since its a watchface.

91 DUB V3.0 by orviwan

This retro watchface is aimed to replicate the style of Casio watches like the F-91w in various different colour themes. The colours of this watchface are fully customisable by the user or a set of built in themes can be chosen making this watchface one of the most customisable available perfect for colour coordination. The bluetooth connection status and battery status are shown on screen alongside whether the watch is in 24hr or 12hr mode.

MAKE ME SMILE by Igor Traskovetskyi

Make Me Smile is a clean looking well designed watchface delivering weather information alongside the date, time and temperature. The background of the face changes in colour randomly but can also be set to a static colour. The weather for your location is shown by the main image of the watchface in a black and white smiley drawing.

NEGATIVE by Ycleptic Studios

This last watchface might not look like a watchface just some randomly coloured blocks on the screen but it is actually a watchface. The time can be read by looking at the black spaces between the blocks, the top half shows the hours and the bottom shows the minutes. This might not be the best if you want to quickly find the time but I think it looks unique and is interesting to have installed.

Best Pebble Time Watchfaces – Weekly Roundup #5

This is the fifth in the series of the best Pebble Time watchfaces which will also work with the Pebble Time Steel. I dont own a Pebble Time yet but am getting the Pebble Time Steel when it is released to backers. Each of the watchfaces can be downloaded by clicking on the name, I have also included a link to the developers websites where available for each watchface.

Best Pebble Time Watchfaces Weekly Roundup

COLOR FUZZY TIME by Tom Medley

Color Fussy time is a bit different from most of the watchfaces I put in these posts as it is a analogue face accompanied by the time written in words. The colour of this watchface will change based on the temperature from cold temperatures in blue to warm temperatures in red or orange which is a different feature, it would be a great addition to add custom colours to this though. The Pebble Time battery level is shown along the top of the face using a white bar which when stretching all the way across the screen shows a full battery.

TICKER by Ricardo Mariano

Ticker is designed to look like old airport display boards or roadside signs which show text using a large amount of LED lights. This is quite a simple watchface but has a unique design users can choose to customise it by removing the seconds from the display and also can change the date format which is good especially for the UK where we use DD/MM rather than MM/DD. The weather is also displayed on this watchface and can be scrolled by shaking the watch or by pushing the side button.

BIG SHADOW by TomHol

Big Shadow is a bold easy to read watchface which I think looks great, the minimalist display shows just the time with the battery level and date hidden until the wearer shakes the watch or pushes the button. What makes this watchface even better is the fact that you can change the colours of the text, background and both shadow parts which will make watchface good for most people as youre not locked into a single colour.

SQUARED 3.0 by Hexahedria

This watchface uses colour blocks in varied colours to make up its text which gives it a unique look compared to other watchfaces. The overall design is very blocky it keeps the whole design as a block by adding three vertical lines to remove any gaps at the start of the text aligning that text to the right which is unusual. Overall I like the design especially with its customizable colours and animations.

VIDEO GEEK by Mark S

The last watchface I have chosen this week is something a bit different, Video Geek aims to replicate the time code screen you may be used to seeing on analogue tv. Displayed in the center of the screen is the time and in the bottom left is the date.
